I am a fourth-year PhD student at Columbia University, in the department of Statistics. I am very fortunate to be advised by Prof. Arian Maleki at Columbia University and Prof. Haolei Weng at Michigan State University. I am interested in high-dimensional statistics in an asymptotic setting.
- I primarily work on developing the minimax framework for statistical models upto sharp constants and higher order asymptotic expansions.
- I am interested in asymtotic approximation of posterior distributions using the Laplace method.
- I am also interested in asymptotic approximation of the influence function for data valuation problems.
Previously, I previously obtained my B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Madras where I worked on Natural Language Processing supervised by Prof. Mitesh Khapra. I also received my MSc. in Data Science at ETH Zurich where I worked on identifiable approaches to representation learning supervised by Prof. Bernhard Scholkopf.
